Milani Metallic Baked Eyeshadow Blue My Mind (Review, Photos, & Swatches)

Milani Baked Eyeshadow - Blue My Mind

I always get super excited when I learn about a great drugstore find!  Next in my list of drugstore goodies are the Milani Baked Eyeshadows.  I'm a little late in finding this gem but, better late than never!  I've been stalking my local CVS, Target, and Walgreen's stores for this eyeshadows (I think I may have begun to worry some employees by now!).  I've managed to acquire quite a few (ok, more like 10) of both the Metallic and Marbelized Milani Baked Eyeshadows.  Because they're all so fabulous, I'm going to devote separate reviews for each!

This review features Milani Metallic Baked Eyeshadow Blue My Mind ($7.49 for 0.05 oz).  Blue My Mind is a dark, blue shadow with subtle hints of shimmer.

Keep reading for more pictures and swatches!

From the Milani website:
Captivating eyeshadow powder that features multiple infusions of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Metallic eyeshadows contain richly refined color intense metallic pigments. All of these gorgeous combinations are designed to be used Wet or Dry.

Blue My Mind is described as a bright blue shadow, with a metallic finish.

Ok, this shadow is super pigmented.  I decided to use the brush that came in the eyeshadow compact to swatch with.  I was very impressed with the color payout when swatched wet and dry.  For those makeup lovers looking for a great eyeshadow, with excellent color payoff, at an inexpensive cost, I definitely say go to your local drugstore and try out some of the Milani Baked Eyeshadows.

So, have you tried any of the Baked Eyeshadows from Milani?  If so, tell me about your experience in the comments section!  I'd love to hear from you!

  1. Wow, I love how pigmented the color is. I've heard great things about MIlani's baked e/s but never got to experience them for myself yet.

  2. Hey D.Sadie! Yes, this blue is sooooo pigmented! Some of the colors apply better wet, like some of the lighter shades. I have pics/swatches of some more of the shadows, that I'll be posting next so you can get a better idea how some of the others look! If you can catch a sale at Walgreen's or CVS, that'll be a good way to try them out!
